Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Wescene lets people capture, share and enjoy event photos and videos together. Wescene is a product of Appsnalog Technologies (“we”, “us”), operated from Malaysia.
By using Wescene, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Using Wescene
- Guests can use Wescene without an account. A guest's name, guest number and selfie belong to one event, on one browser.
- Organizers must be 18 or older, give accurate information, and keep their account secure.
- Use Wescene lawfully and responsibly.
2. Events
- Organizers create events and decide who gets the link.
- Anyone with the event link can open the event, unless the organizer sets a passcode. Share the link and passcode with care.
- Organizers are responsible for their event, including how photos of guests and children are shared.
- Having access to an event does not give you the right to reuse its photos for other purposes.
3. Your content
You own the photos and videos you upload.
You allow us to store, process and show them, only as needed to run Wescene.
When you upload to an event, you also allow the event's organizer to view, show, download and remove your content.
If you add a selfie, only you and the event's organizer see it. The organizer sees it next to the photos you shared, and can remove it.
Only upload content you have the right to share.
4. Downloads
Depending on the event's settings, people may view or download content from the event. Once downloaded, we cannot control what they do with it. Respect other people's privacy and rights.
5. What you must not do
- Upload illegal, abusive, sexual or harmful content.
- Share private images of someone without their consent.
- Infringe someone's copyright or privacy.
- Harass, threaten or impersonate others.
- Send spam or malware.
- Try to access events, accounts or systems you are not allowed to.
- Disrupt Wescene or use it for fraud.
We may remove content or suspend accounts and events that break these terms. We do not review all content before it appears.
6. Paid features
Some features may require payment. The price and terms are shown before you buy. Your rights under consumer protection law are not affected.
7. Deleting content
Guests can remove the photos they shared and their selfie at any time, also after the event has stopped accepting photos, from Mine (Photos I've shared). This works only on the phone or browser used to upload them, while its guest session lasts, because guests have no account. From another device, ask the organizer or contact us. A removed photo cannot be restored.
Organizers can delete any photo, remove a guest's selfie, or delete the whole event. Deleted photos and selfies can be restored from Recently deleted for 7 days. A deleted event cannot be restored.
Events are also deleted when their time runs out (section 8). We may also delete an event that breaks these terms, or when the law requires it.
Deleting content does not remove copies that others have already downloaded or shared.
8. Availability
We work to keep Wescene running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Features may change.
Events stay online for a limited time after they end:
- Free events stay online for 14 days after the event ends.
- Full events stay online for 6 months after the event ends.
An event created after its date stays online at least as long, counted from the day it was created. All dates follow the event's time zone.
After that, the event goes offline. Guests and Presentations can no longer open it, and no one can add photos. The organizer can still see it, and guests can still remove the photos they shared. 30 days after the event goes offline, we delete it permanently, with all its photos and files. A deleted event cannot be restored.
While Wescene offers Full, the organizer can make a Free event Full until 1 day before it is deleted. This brings an offline event back online, with the same link and QR code. The organizer of a Full event can download all its photos in original quality until the event is deleted.
Wescene shows these dates in the organizer's account and emails the organizer after the event ends, 30 days before a Full event goes offline, a few days before the event goes offline (3 days for Free, 7 days for Full), on the day it goes offline, and 7 days before it is deleted. We never delete an event before the deletion date we showed its organizer. While an organizer's account is suspended, we send them no such emails, and their events are not deleted when their time runs out.
Wescene is not a backup service. Keep your own copies of photos that matter to you.
Wescene staff can see organizer accounts, events and orders, to support organizers and keep Wescene safe. They cannot see guest photos, guest names or selfies. Staff can suspend an account, or delete an event that breaks these terms or after a legal request. Deleting an event deletes its photos and files permanently. When staff delete an event, its organizer usually sees a notice in their account with a general reason. We keep a record of what staff do for 24 months. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.
9. Our brand
The Wescene name, logo and software belong to Appsnalog Technologies. Do not use them without our permission.
10. Liability
Wescene is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for loss caused by service interruptions, other people's use of content, or lost content. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow us to limit.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using Wescene at any time. We may suspend or end access to protect people, keep Wescene secure, or follow the law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You keep any protections that the laws of your country give you.
13. Changes
When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. We tell organizers about important changes. If you keep using Wescene after a change, the new terms apply.
